QUNOM 2025

QUNOM Workshop, 16-17 October 2025

The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany’s National Metrology Institute, will host the QUNOM Workshop and EUV&VUV Seminar 2025. The EUV&VUV Seminar 2025 seminar is a forum for interdisciplinary exchange between basic and technology-oriented researchers and industrial users. The topics cover latest results from industrial applications of EUV radiation for lithography and measurement technology to developments for space-based VUV and EUV spectroscopy and the investigation of nano-structured surfaces. This seminar will take place on Tuesday, 14th, and Wednesday, 15th October 2025 at PTB.

The workshop on "Quantification of Uncertainties in Nano-Optical-Metrology" (QUNOM) will take place on Thursday, 16th, and Friday, 17th October 2025. The venue for the meeting is the Helmholtz-Building, which is located on the Berlin-Charlottenburg campus of PTB (Abbestr. 2-12, 10587 Berlin). The QUNOM Association aims to foster the exchange of young scientists in the field of nano-metrology. Its objective is to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration between experts in mathematics, physics, and engineering.

We would be delighted to welcome you to PTB in October 2025.

Participation in the QUNOM workshop is free of charge. We only ask that you send an email to the organizers to register so that we can better plan for coffee and snacks. Please register for the EUV&VUV seminar separately via the website.

Kind regards,
